As part of the Foundation's Senior Management Team, primarily responsible for managing the resources, personnel and and departmental functions of programming and grantmaking in order to achieve organizational goals and carry out the strategic goal of transforming the District's civil legal aid network.

Developed programs and managed projects for Washington D.C.-based non-profit organizations, including the Justice Management Institute, American Constitution Society, Higher Achievement Program, and National Legal Aid and Defender Association. Certified EEOC investigator, conducted close to one hundred investigations of allegations of employment discrimination in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act 1964, collecting documentation, and analyzing evidence. Contact tracer through National Opinion Research Center (NORC) for Maryland Department of Health during COVID-19 pandemic. Interviewed hundreds of MD residents who tested positive for or were exposed to the virus to collect and provide public health data and information

Provided technical assistance and program support under MacArthur Foundation's Safety and Justice Challenge; and program support on Fair Justice Initiative.

Managed operations of this advocacy organization to engage the civil rights community in the pretrial justice reform movement.

Led and managed NLADA's advocacy, training, technical assistance and research and evaluation efforts on public defense and criminal justice issues.

Developed and managed consulting services, convenings and other resources to help maximize the impact that professional sports teams and athletes can have on youth and communities.

As Presidentially appointed, Senate confirmed Director, led largest grant making agency in the U.S. Department of Justice. Managed doubling of Bureau to 130 staff and $1.8 million appropriation; oversaw major re-organization; substantially reformed grant making processes; diversified staff at every level and led development of award-winning end-to-end internet-based grant application and award system.

Established, implemented and administered component of statewide indigent defense agency charged with selecting, training, compensating and monitoring the performance of private attorneys who provide legal representation to over 100,000 clients annually.

As part of start-up team, developed, implemented and administered contracting attorney component of nationwide legal service delivery system which ultimately covered over 700,000 eligible members who were employees and retirees represented by UAW.
