I also attend pre-bid meetings to determine project feasibility. I have successfully established Phenix Construction and Design, Inc. as a certified Women and Minority Business Enterprise (WMBE). I perform all general administrative duties including obtaining and organizing required documentation from vendors, suppliers, and clients. I perform and manage bookkeeping activities including accounts receivable and accounts payable, balancing the general ledger, monthly bank reconciliation, and producing financial statements using QuickBooks.I am also involved with job site tasks such as surveying job sites to assist with determining project scope and managing safety containment and safety logs.

Work closely with senior leaders of organizations (e.g., Heart of Florida United Way, GroupWyse, Boston Institute for Meaningful Purpose) to evaluate the impact of interventions including community-based social services, life skills training for children, and executive/career coaching. Specific evaluation activities include identifying measurable outcomes, identifying and creating measurement tools, assessing the psychometric properties of measurement tools, and developing strategies to collect outcome data. Additional responsibilities include the analysis of data (using Microsoft Excel, SPSS, and LISREL) and creating reports and presentations to communicate findings. Also responsible for writing responses to Request for Proposals (RFP) and/or Requests for Quotations (RFQ) from various government entities (e.g., Department of Labor, Department of Forest Services) in search of external consultation.

Managed project teams and provided technical expertise to design, develop, and implement training programs and evaluation systems for various job positions with the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) and Defense Security System (DSS). Conducted needs assessments and gap analyses to determine organizational training needs. Identified a process for using competency modeling systems to guide human performance management from selection through certification testing. Managed and conducted behavioral and cognitive job/task analyses and developed methodologies to collect and communicate this data for the purposes of training design, development and evaluation. Developed and administered on-line surveys for multiple purposes, analyzed data, and prepared reports for customers and professional conferences. Also served on a proposal team as a technical expert and writer in the areas of analysis, assessment, and competency modeling.

Conducted extensive literature reviews in the areas of training evaluation, distance learning, and sampling strategies. Performed statistical analyses (quantitative and qualitative) to support consulting projects evaluating the training effectiveness of programs for large public health organizations (National Association of County and City Health Officials, Center for Construction Research and Training). Developed and implemented a 360o evaluation strategy to determine the effectiveness of safety training on Gulf Oil Spill workers for the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS). Also assisted in writing a book chapter on sampling strategies utilized by occupational health researchers, as well as papers and posters presented at professional conferences. Assisted in writing reports to present these evaluation findings to upper level managers.
