FrankCrum, a payroll company, purchased the property and kept me on as Facilities Manager where I continued on with the care of the facility. The property is 15 acres, 130,000 sq ft Facility located in downtown Clearwater. I have a full staff to manage the operations of the facility. Created a Visio floor plan for the configuration of the floors is also used by the IT department for connections in each cubicle for computers. Created a corporate list of employees and responsible for the security system, full generator back up systems, Siemens fire system. My responsibilities include managing reception, maintenance, mailroom, café and security. I worked with lawn maintenance crew making landscaping choices regarding flowers, trimming and planting of trees, adjustments to sprinkler system and taking proper care of the 5 fountains on property. Maintain budgets for the facility of $2.5 million and re-quote vendors yearly Responsible to maintain the buildings and property to keep maintenance costs down.

CGI, an IT company with 32,000 employees, merged with IMR Global in July 2001and I was promoted to Facilities Manager which included 2 buildings totaling 130,000 sq ft with 26 cameras throughout the complex. I managed all aspects of the facilities, including security, and created all the floor layouts in both buildings used by the IT department. Had communication with 26 offices all over the world for CGI, handled purchasing for the facility, equipment repairs, and purchasing new equipment. Two generators control the power to the buildings and Halon protection for the Network rooms including managing the security of the buildings, created security’s role by scheduling guards, creating badges, protection of the employees and the property. In charge of setting up the Safety Directors and implementing Fire Drills for the safety of the employees. OSHA compliant with the facility and the products used every day.

The company is an IT company with 3500 employees in offices all over the world. My job as Assistant Facilities Manager included the Security of the Building; responsibility of taking employee photos, creating badges, paperwork for the company. Trained operators and Administrative Assistants to handle incoming and outgoing calls and greet people to the facility.
