Academic Enhancement Seminars (AES) are offered as a one-credit courses through the Department of Counseling Psychology for students who want to improve their study skills and improve their grades.

SERP provides underrepresented undergraduate students interested in pursuing graduate studies in the academic fields within the School of Education, a valuable opportunity to engage in independent research guided by a faculty mentor for 8-weeks during the summer.

- Provided direct clinical services including individual, family and group therapy using culturally-sensitive,recovery-oriented,and trauma-informed care frameworks- Conducted accurate assessments to evaluate mental health and substance use needs of diverse individuals and families via an environment that is supportive of clients’ cultural backgrounds and beliefs- Provided case management, crisis management, and medication referral services as necessary-Completed and maintained accurate records including intakes, assessments, treatment plans, progress notes,discharge summaries, and other clinical information- Received two of weekly individual supervision by onsite supervisor

The UW-Madison Counseling Psychology Training Clinic is a training facility for graduate students through the University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Counseling Psychology.
