Manage day to day operations OP Oncology unit with base center in Lima and satellite in Celina, OH. Responsible for compliance standards for OSHA, Hipaa, Medicare & Medicaid. Initiated 3 health software programs. Billing, coding, and appeals. Charge entry of all chemotherapy claims. Credentialing. Health insurance and Benefits coordination for employees and physicians. Insurance audits and inspections. Training of all staff. Supervised externships for RN students, Phlebotomy students, CMA students and rotations for Medical students. Responsible for end of month reports that generated income for physicians. Negotiated contracts with vendors. Closed down practice when sold to hospital.
