I believe in both empowering my patients with the information they need to be successful, and providing each one with the individual, hands-on attention necessary to achieve this end. This is true of a patient in any stage of the spectrum of recovery, from Acute Care to outpatient treatment. I am profoundly empathetic to the fact that any patient who presents to physical therapy has experienced some level of loss. The attitude with which I approach all my patients is one of gentle support, yet firm commitment to meet their functional goals. The effectiveness of this approach is reflected in their improved functional outcomes, both subjective and objective.
