Full-time as an Educational Assistant to support students with special needs, currently working in Richmond Secondary; familiar with school system including registration, transition meetings, advisory roles, and orientation.

* scheduling program, in-taking students, finding Practicum Placement, coordinating with outsourced workshop agencies, scheduling instructors to teach the Education Assistant program;* Teaching most of the courses in the EA Program, from Child & Adolescent Development to Life Skills; * Supporting students with different ethnic backgrounds, such as from First Nation to various cultures;* Applying different teaching strategies to support students’ learning according to their strengths and needs, including some students with learning challenges.* Contacting School District and Support Team to monitor student’s progress, providing practicum advice to students and evaluating their final performance.

• Manage office operations, recruit and schedule staff and prepare payroll• Develop programs, and provide learning support for students and their families• Coordinate with public library and community centers to promote programs
