SDG is a nonprofit membership network of foundations, corporate giving programs, grantmaking public charities, government funders, giving circles and impact investors. • Led SDG’s growth: from 65 to 150 philanthropic and impact investor members; from a budget of $175K to $1.5M; from 2 to 10 staff. • Developed SDG’s equity-centered strategic framework with an initial focus on racial and gender justice; shifted internal culture and practices, re-oriented member educational offerings and collaborations• Multiplied services, constituencies and revenue sources, including hosting the San Diego Impact Investing Network and Women Give San Diego• Formalized the “Learn/Plan/Act” approach to achieving collective community change• Received national attention for impactful funder and cross sector collaboratives such as the Military Transition Support Project, Social Equity Collaborative Fund, Funders Together to End Homelessness SD.
