I was also responsible for creating their work schedules and therefore had to be mindful of when to have more associates on the floor and when I did not need them.Baking fresh goods has specifically honed my time management and forecasting skills throughknowing what sells best on which days, when to bake more cookies, what to order ahead of time that will continue to sell and will not become overstock, etc. It was my responsibility to make sure all the shelves were full when needed and to overturn stock so that expired merchandise was never left on the floor.In this position I have taken some things upon myself to make the department better and help mycompany in achieving their goals, such as creating new selling or packaging techniques to increase the sales of my products.
