I am a dedicated, innovative and highly trained educator, who has worked with all age groups in multiple settings. I have over several years of experience working with children of all abilities. My background as a teacher includes working with students who range in age from 1st grade to 12th grade in different schools. This experience has given me the skills and experience to excel in a variety of Teaching areas. Working with children in different settings has developed my Curriculum Development skills and my ability to communicate effectively among students and parents.Currently, I am a Literacy Interventionist for grades 7 and 8. Utilizing student data, I am able to create individualized educational experiences for my students which greatly improves their overall reading growth and academic confidence.Further, I coach a variety of sports including girls' volleyball, basketball, softball and track. Most importantly, I provide many young women the opportunity to participate in a team sport, learn new skills and develop lasting friendships.Balancing family, life and work is important and I hope to set a positive example to anyone I come in contact with. :)
