The Nurse Educator supports the Medical Affairs Team in educating HCPs on the management of IV Iron Infusion Therapy for IDA (Iron Deficiency Anemia). The role of the Nurse Educator is non-promotional, as an essential member of the MA Team, responding to unsolicited medical education requests by HCPs who provide IV Iron Infusion Therapy. Cross funtional team collaboration with the Marketing team, National Accounts and Commercial Field Team is key in developing and maintaining strong KOL relationships. Develop and maintain medical education expertise to ensure that all HCPs providing IV Iron infusions are equipped with all relevant information for efficacy and patient safety. Provides virtual and in person Clinical Education In-services on Anemia, Disease State, Hypersensitivity Reactions Management and Product Dosing, Administration, Safety and Efficacy. Manages unsolicited medical infromation requests in the field with appropriate documentation and repoerts clinical insights regarding product characteristics and therapeutic area development. Identifies and supports Nurse Advisory Boards. Manages and educates new nurse speakers for Nurse Consultant/Speaker Program.Management of the Southwest Territory includes Arizona, Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming, with 70% travel.
