I accepted a grant-funded position as a Career Navigator with the Career & Job Services division of the Kenton County Public Library. I previously worked in Atlanta, for an agency that specialized in developing internal communications campaigns for Fortune 500 companies. I was an Account Manager and was promoted to Consultant for my aptitude to understand the client’s needs and develop detailed communications plans. Early in my career, I promoted major events. I managed the advertising and PR for the Festival of Trees and the Egleston’s Children’s Christmas Parade fundraising events in Atlanta. I was a Marketing Manager for Turfway Park racetrack and was promoted to Director of Advertising and Events for my success marketing the $500,000 Jim Beam Stakes, a nationally televised KY Derby prep race. I have always sought ways to volunteer my skills. I was a Grand Champion fundraiser for the Cincinnati Alzheimer’s Walk in 2017. In Atlanta, I was a Business Volunteer for the Arts and used my marketing skills to grow awareness and funding for Moving in the Spirit, an inner-city dance company. At present, I direct a volunteer marketing team for Viva Voices Choral organization. I am a very energetic person. I love to perform choral music and to make children belly laugh, sing and dance with me. I enjoy fitness activities, travel and being outdoors – Zumba, yoga, and lots of hiking.
