Nancy Lafoy Email and Phone Number
I have worked in the banking industry for over 30 years as a consultant assisting clients with generating growth, increasing profitability and enhancing shareholder value. Currently, I am a Managing Director for Brightlane Partners, where my clients are de novo bank organizing groups, community banks, and FinTech businesses that need advisory services in the areas of business strategy development, regulations & compliance, regulatory applications, bank holding company formations, policies & procedures, mergers & acquisitions, stock valuation, and asset disposition. My industry knowledge was built working for the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta in banking regulation, and as a commercial lender with First National Bank of Atlanta and Wachovia Bank. This experience helped me gain perspective from many sides of the industry, which has helped launch a successful consulting career. Previously, I spent 20 years with the consulting firm of T. Stephen Johnson & Associates, Inc. managing community bank projects and acquisitions for large bank holding companies. I was responsible for a team that developed over 100 de novo bank applications and assisted in numerous bank acquisitions. During this time I gained executive level experience having managed a bank acquisition and a public offering raising $25 million of capital to establish Florida Banks, Inc., headquartered in Jacksonville, where I served on the Board of Directors and chaired the Audit Committee.
