Arts, media and creativity have always played a part in my life and career.I began my career in front of house management of a busy downtown Toronto restaurant. My skill sets let me work on bringing in clientele and building a reputation as a go to place, so much so that I created a strong relationship with the Toronto Blue Jays and held annual dinners for them. With two others on my team, still representing the restaurant, I won an International Culinary Competition.After that long stint in hospitality management, I took my management, merchandising and creative skills and parlayed them into a roll at Livent, the musical theatre company where I worked on the corporate and creative side of merchandise. One of her most memorable moments was during Paul Stanley’s stint as The Phantom of The Opera and creating his personal Phantom logo. From there, I moved on to Telefilm Canada where I dove into the burgeoning New Media world as an Investment Analyst - helping to fund Canadian new media projects.Post Telefilm, I took a hiatus from my own career and spent time focussing on my husband’s. During that time, I held the position of Chair of the Board for a small not for profit dance company.In 2017, I joined the boutique PR/Communications company, Deb McCain Communications where I happily worked alongside Deb with exciting clients, predominantly in the fashion, design and television fields.
