Decided to go back to teaching and working directly with the kids.

As an elected Council Delegate, I represented 1,485 members in major Council decisions. I was also asked to be on the Council Realignment Committee as a Service Sub-Committee Member during a 3 council merger. There, I helped to develop the policies of the newly merged council. I was also an adult trainer, teaching New Leader Training as well as Cadette and Senior Leader Level Training. I was a member of the Westfield Girl Scout Service Team for 15 years. The team supports and aids all troops and leaders in Westfield, is their Council liaison, and plans large scale events in town.
