 Responsible for collaborative, strategic and operational leadership for the development, implementation and evaluation of interprofessional practice strategies and ongoing training and development education throughout the health authority.  Responsible for the ongoing development of the Medical Undergraduate Teaching Unit and works collaboratively with the Medical Director to ensure success of the program.  Responsible for all clinical/student placements in the health authority and works with internal and external stakeholders to achieve coordinated efforts in this regard. The manager provides direct supervision to departmental staff.  Provides leadership and support to the following organizational committees: The Quality and Patient Safety Council and the Interprofessional Practice Committee.
