Retired from a 30 year career in radio as an announcer/DJ/PSA Director in January 2007.My career also included teaching second grade, K-6 substitute teacher and a Girl Scout leader for my daughter's troop for 6 years.Recorded a "sampler" album called "Giving Back" in 2008 with Vermont Musician/Producer Colin McCaffrey of East Montpelier. Includes back-up vocals from Vermont artist, Patti Casey as well as instrumentals from Vermont musician, Jim Pitman. Part of the sales of the CD I gave back to my alma mater, Johnson State College, as a contribution to the Alumni Scholarship Fund. The full circle moment for the project was being able to meet a student who benefited from that money.Recorded soundtrack with 5 other Vermont musicians for George Woodard's independent film, "The Summer of Walter Hacks".Recorded another "sampler" album called "Green Mountain Harmony" in 2011. It includes Vermont musicians who were guests on my radio program, The Sunday Morning Sampler, heard on WLVB-FM 93.9. Some of the artists include Jon Gailmor, George Woodard, Rusty Dewees, Patti Casey, Gregory Douglass, and Keeghan Nolan.Performed in the Ground Hog Opry tour with George Woodard-March 2012.Performed with George Woodard, Carrie Cook and Ramona Godfrey in "Our Town", an adaptation featuring Woodchuck, VT held in Waterbury, VT.- March 2013 and March 2014Coordinated musicians for a Vermont Musicians' Concert in Morrisville to raise funds for the First Congregational Church's mission to serve and support children and families in Lamoille County.
