Key achievements*Sourced funds from Plan International, Ministry of Health Siaya and other organizations to set up a fully equipped and functional sickbay in Maranda Special School*Trained 20 young women on financial literacy, employability, entrepreneurship and life skills in Bondo*Linked two persons with disabilities from Bondo to a program called Access to Quality Education Training (AQET)*Educated 520 adolescent girls from Githunguchu Secondary School in Nyandarua county on reproductive health and menstrual hygiene and distributed 520 sanitary wares*Planned, facilitated and participated in community action days such as World Mental Health Day and 16 Days of Activism campaign Against Gender Based Violence in Bondo town where 300 community members, including children were reached.

Key achievements*Visited over 20 households in Nyandarua South to monitor household economic strengthening (HES) and ensure HIV positive OVC adhere to medication*Enrolled 100 new OVC into CASE-OVC (Comprehensive, Assistance, Support and Empowerment of Orphan and Vulnerable Children) Project from Nyandarua South*Conducted psychosocial sessions with 100 orphan and vulnerable girls and their caregivers and sensitized them on sexual reproductive health and child rights, protection and safeguarding in Nyandarua South*Distributed 100 underwear and 200 sanitary towels to 100 orphan and vulnerable girls in Nyandarua South

Key achievements*Assisted the Project Manager in the implementation of the SEALS advocacy strategies aimed at safeguarding children’s rights and academic excellence in Laikipia county*Facilitated mentorship sessions to over 20 primary and secondary schools around Laikipia county aimed at helping the children open up about the violence they were facing and provide the needed support*Identified and supported 3 girls who were survivors of sexual violence in one of the schools*Engaged Laikipia county children’s services office in supporting 3 girls who were survivors of sexual violence*Trained 50 Laikipia University students on positive behavior change that can enhance academic excellence*Participated in planting over 500 trees in Laikipia University Main Campus
