I am a graduated homeschool mom of two daughters who I homeschooled from preschool through high school. I served on Board of Directors of Arizona Families for Home Education (AFHE) for 13 years with my husband James and worked as the Executive Director of AFHE 2016-2020. I served in a variety of roles including Convention Director for 8 years, Magazine Editor for 14 years, Graphic Designer, Event Planner, Website Content Manager, Advertising and Sponsorships Manager, and Social Media Manager. I retired from AFHE in 2020, but continue to serve the homeschool community at the national level with the National Alliance of Christian Home Education Leadership (the Alliance) and HomeschoolFreedom.com. I enjoy serving as the conference director for the National Alliance Leaders Conference, National Homeschool Day of Prayer coordinator, and to volunteer in whatever ways I can to support the mission of the Alliance and serve leaders and families.I have a passion for encouraging and equipping parents as they endeavor to homeschool their own children. I enjoy blogging, speaking, graphic design, cooking, quilting, gardening, and spending time with my grandchildren.
