I have a fifteen-year proven record in nonprofit development and fundraising with expertise in donor relations, annual funds, major gifts, database analysis, strategic planning, securing grants and prospect research.In 2021 Coordinex tasked me with building relationships with corporate and business sponsorships for events and nonprofit fundraising, and in 2023 we have secured sponsorships for Long Beach Pride and Centennial Event for a Long Beach hospital.During summer of 2018, I was recruited to provide fundraising and administrative consulting services on behalf of Latinos LEAD (Latinos for Excellence and Diversity), a new organization addressing lack of diversity and low Latino representation on the boards of nonprofits.My fundraising focus during 2016-2018 was fixed on the Roundhouse Aquarium Teaching Center in Manhattan Beach. I oversaw multiple successful events and provided new sources of income for their inaugural reserve fund. In 2017, I applied a passion for arts education and television/film expertise to identify funding prospects for the Arts Education Branch of the Los Angeles Unified School District.As a development executive with NBC/Universal Studios, Warner Bros. and independent production companies I provided story and script development and production expertise on feature films, movies-for-television, mini-series, and series for network and cable. At the Television Academy Foundation, as co-chair on the committee overseeing and innovating education programs my work resulted in increased recognition of and participation in the Foundation’s nationally acclaimed Academy Internships, Faculty Seminar and College Television Awards. I collaborated with award winning talent, college faculty and students, and the Foundation’s Board of Governors and Academy staff. I am an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Greater San Fernando Valley.
