Nancy Miles Email and Phone Number

I grew up in Hawaii and Puerto Rico (sí, hablo español) and have a degree in Music Therapy from Duquesne University. I worked in mental health for a number of years both in a Community Program setting and on a Crisis Team connected to a hospital in Passaic, NJ. After moving to Salem,CT for my husband's career, I served 7 years as an elected Registrar of Voters. I also served several elected terms on a school board with the last year as Chair of the board. A move to Toronto, Ontario left me with time to volunteer with a group that advocated for gifted children and provided weekend programs open to all kids. We relocated to Winter Park, FL in 2000 and I have spent years serving on several Tennis League boards and the Crosby Y board. For the last 7 years, I have served on the board of the non-profit Woman's Club of Winter Park, a 106 year old group whose missions include Scholarship, Charitable Giving, Educational speaker programs and the preservation of our historic clubhouse. Four of those years were as Treasurer, two as VP and my current role is as President. My hobbies include tennis, genealogy and sewing and crafts.
