I have been a Speech Language Pathologist for 10 years. I have worked in hospitals, rehab clinics, outpatient clinics, SNF units, nursing homes, public schools, private schools, day cares, Montessori schools, and home health. I LOVE fluency (stuttering) cases and always jump at the chance to work with any clients to improve fluency. I have a great deal of experience with children including expressive and receptive language disorders, articulation disorders, pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders. I have worked extensively with children with Autism, Down's Syndrome, Rett's Syndrome, Cri Du Chat syndrome, hydrocephalus, microcephalic children, and fetal alcohol syndrome.While I was PRN in health care settings, I had the opportunity to work with adults with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, aphasia, dysphasia, cardiovascular incidents, cancer of the neck/throat, as well as patients with tracheotomies and ventilators.
