As a program manager of Ujamaa Africa, I am tasked with overseeing smooth implementation and running of Empowerment Transformation training program in Kenya. Key Responsibilities:1. Reporting to the Executive Director on the project implementation process in our area of operation including Dadaab, Kakuma, Kajiado, the 5 informal settlement of Nairobi namely Mukuru, Korogocho, Kibera, Huruma and Dandora.2. Lead the development and implementation of strategies to improve ETT Program while also designing and modifying program to march the contextual realities within our areas of operations more specifically Kakuma, Daadab, and Malawi.3. Provide technical guidance to Malawi and Somalia program, in order to build their capacity in the conceptualization, development, design, administration, and monitoring of the ETT program within these countries.4. Ensuring performance monitoring systems are in place, with research department I ensure that periodic, reliable measures and indicators of program impact are established; and monitored on an ongoing basis.5. Developing Monitoring and evaluating tools for projects as well as monitoring and evaluating the progress and success of projects.6. Contribute to performance monitoring reviews and reports of the ETT Department as well as other reporting requirements as directed by Management, Board of Directors and Donors, Funders and Partners.7. Coordinating activities, resources, equipment, and information for successful implementation of the projects.8. Preparation of Project Proposal, Work plan, schedule, and Budget in the sourcing of funds.9. Assist the Executive Director in Fundraising and forging partnerships.10. Creating and Maintaining comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.11. Member of the Management Committee tasked with directing activities organization, ensuring it is well run and delivering the outcomes for which it has been set up.
