Duties and Responsibilities:• Work on projects to effectively manage large amounts of data and working with IT and other labs to design efficient IT systems for the data • Develop and maintain Performance Improvement and quality control program • Develop standards of performance and project evaluations • Provide technical oversight of labs, equipment and testing • Make recommended changes and serves as a resource for problem solving and process improvement • Manage division lab staff including hiring, training/development, performance assessment, and scheduling • Implement and maintain strong workflow processes and systems for good lab management to include workload, cycle, and productivity assessments • Hands-on plating solution analysis, preparing standards and running gold and silver solutions, rinses and waste samples in the AA machine . Chemical inventory and order for replenishments . Review and approve test reports • Oversee lab daily operations • Assist production and troubleshooting

Perform analytical test on aqueous metal finishing solutions, Precious metals and commercial parts, with the purpose of maintaining the required standards and specifications. Inventory of the reagents and processing chemicals. Develop formula, processes and methods involved in the processes. Chemical addition assessment . Troubleshooting. Investigate production issues, analyze root cause and define solutions. NADCAP Audit and ISO accreditation preparation and documentations using the Chemtrak software. Assist in determining quality improvement factors to make sure processes adhere to quality standards. Assist in finding potential quality issues in production and implementing solutions to mitigate problems. Suggest ways to increase production efficiency and correct product quality issues Accomplish and sign reports as required by Sanitation District, EPA and other Regulatory offices. Assist in permits and licenses. Oversee the Waste Water Continuous and Batch Treatment Processes and the Water Recycling System. Collaborate with the department heads to complete job hazard assessments and implement Health and Safety policies and procedures. Responsible for the Hazardous and Non-hazardous wastes.
