Management in all administrative aspects plus financial responsibility for two National Cemeteries. I supervise 6 staff members and manage a 4 million dollar budget. I complete monthly reports and process delivery of exceptional customer service to the 3, 500 families our cemetery services each year. I conduct management surveys and research projects and I provide comprehensive and timely advice on difficult issues. I ensure timely and appropriate responses to all cemetery correspondence and manage filing and record control systems to ensure expedient action on all high-visibility and sensitive correspondence. I communicate performance goals to cemetery workforce, tracking performance trends. I provide accurate projections of cemetery needs and ensure that effective obligation of resources takes place to support the mission. Timely and accurate status reports, spreadsheets and other necessary documents related to daily status of funds, operating budget plans, dollar allocation associated with contracts and timekeeping.
