On-site Linamar Resident Engineer at the Ford Transmission New Product Center in Livonia, MI. Managed and co-lead engineering component module teams to support VA/VE designs, testing, validation and manufacturing on new joint venture 6 speed transmission for 2006 MY Launch.Launched the Ford 6F and GM X22F 6 speed transmission as Tier 1 supplier at Ford Livonia Transmission Plant and GM Warren Transmission Assembly. Worked with launch teams to successfully meet PPAP launch timing, ramp up schedule and APQP delivery expectations. Coordinated design verification, FEA analysis, torsional fatigue, static/dynamic cycling and ultimate torque testing as required per customer durability requirements. Utilized APQP, 8D and FMEAs to support engineering/manufacturing issues and design changes for current and new product launches.
