Senior Employee Relations Analyst
Current-Give expert guidance and consultation to all employees on diverse Employee Relations issues, including performance management, prohibited conduct complaint process, leave management, unemployment, mediation, grievance and appeals process, and compliance with ADA and employment laws (local, state, and federal).-Advise on corrective actions and resolutions, aligning with County policies, procedural adherence, and legal guidelines.-Interpret and apply policies and regulations to maintain legal compliance and County standards.-Manage all aspects of County unemployment insurance, represent the employer in unemployment hearings, and prepare leadership for hearings.-Participate in formulating and reviewing HR policies and suggesting methods to enhance efficiency.-Maintain performance in dynamic, high-pressure situations, prioritizing effectively amidst ambiguity.-Develop and deliver ER-related training programs across various organizational levels.-Respond to and research ER-related inquiries received from the County anonymous hotline. -Conduct thorough HR investigations, applying legal standards and best practices to formulate recommendations for management.-Mediate conflicts between colleagues and amongst employees and their supervisor or manager for resolution and workplace harmony.-Assist supervisors and managers with coordinating pre-disciplinary conference meetings and grievance hearings.-Analyze ER data to pinpoint trends, recommend improvements, and manage projects to enhance data systems and resources. -Oversee ER projects aimed at enhancing data systems and processes.-Collaborate and contribute to designing and developing the Employee Relations website and creating the resource information presence/platform.
