I am enjoying an amazing career in the social service industry. I had many positions working with children, adolescents and young adults at New Horizons teen shelter, Catholic Charities, The Counseling Center and the Medina Police Department. In those jobs, I have had the opportunity to work with all the Medina County schools as well as Rittman and Doylestown in Wayne County. I have had contract work and grant positions with The Juvenile Detention Center, The Oaks Family Care Center, Lodi Family Center, Community Action Head Start for preschoolers, The Sagamore Outdoor Education Program, The Medina County Probation Department with domestic violence offenders. Most recently, I have worked with Operation Homes Homeless Shelter and Medina Metropolitan Housing Authority to assist people with referrals to hundreds of local resources and find and maintain affordable housing. Although working in this field is challenging, I have had the most interesting career experiences of anyone I know and have met the most extraordinary and inspirational people along the way!
