Direct all activities related to the development of new programs, growing existing programs and fundraising for both Adelante Development Center and Storehouse NM, the state's largest food pantry.Member of a seven-person executive team that develops annual budgets, strategic plans, personnel policies and fiscal responsibility for a $30 Million nonprofit employing 850 staff.Developed a new program for Storehouse NM based on changing clients' needs. Created all new operations, procedures, programming, marketing and relationships with community partners to make this program a success.Responsible for writing and presenting program plans, fundraising plans and budget updates to both Adelante Development Center's BOD and Storehouse NM BOD.

After decades in the investment industry, I changed course because I became increasingly alarmed by children and families who are in need of support and have no voice in our society. I provide advisory services, consulting and interim staff support to non-profits and companies who contribute to helping children and their families lead a better life. My clients have included national organizations such as ConAgra Foods Foundation, Feeding America and Share Our Strength, to corporations such as Target and small NGOs including pantries.I concentrate in five areas of consulting:1.STRATEGIC PLANNING I bring a deep knowledge of both government and non-profit initiatives to my facilitation of strategic planning. I can help design and manage a full planning approach or support any part of that process. 2. PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT FOR FUNDRAISING My background in marketing enables me to support executive and development teams in shaping programs that can draw financial support from individuals, foundations and corporations. 3. CHILD HUNGER SOLUTIONS My experience with the child hunger challenge involves Federal government programs, school systems, non-profits and corporate partners. Child hunger can be solved with access to food year round including summer and weekends, supports to families and through an understanding of public policies.4. SENIOR SERVICES SOLUTIONS As the baby boom generation become seniors, the challenge of senior issues has increased dramatically. Organizations are turning more attention to these needs and developing new initiatives to find solutions. 5. COLLABORATION DEVELOPMENT AND SUPPORT Solving any human service challenge is not possible with any single organization. My work in building solid and productive collaborations between multiple organizations can help a community create a plan and build the resources to see remarkable results.

I developed New Mexico’s first Plan to End Hunger, a three-year Plan that accomplished its overarching Goal: to move New Mexico from the worst in the nation in hunger to the fifth worst in the nation (and then to the 12th worst in November 2010). I founded the New Mexico Collaboration to End Hunger, a collaboration of 85 partners to accomplish the goals of the Plan. In addition, I hired and managed staff and created and monitored annual budgets. I presented the creation and work of the Collaboration at over 300 meetings and raised funds totaling over $3.4 Million from foundations, corporations, organizations and individuals.
