Identified shelters for different counties that would ensure the safety of the community when flooding and other hazards appeared without notice.  Served in Disaster Action Team (DAT) as a captain, determining risk assessment of affected dwelling and determining habitability of homes from clients that have suffered a home fire. By doing so, provided direct client assistance as well as immediate lodging as needed. Coordinated training for fire safety, for children between 5-7 years old, instructed the importance of being safe when met with different hazards and ensured they were able to conduct themselves during a fire.
