It is my goal to help ensure that every guest has a Positive gaming experience at Harrington Raceway & Casino. Everyone knows that the casinos are not built by winners but win, lose or draw, everyone can have a positive gaming experience. Resolving problems and conflicts that reflect in a positive manner for both the casino and the guests are one of my many strong suits. All areas within the casino work together as a team and I try to motivate our teams members to remember, (TEAM Together Everyone Achieves More). As Gaming Hosts, we not only provide outstanding customer service to our VIP's; we provide outstanding customer service to every guest because they could be our next VIP.

February 2010 was a cold, snowy winter but Table Games were coming to Delaware. I went to the very first job fair for Harrington Raceway & Casino and was selected to learn to be a Table Games Dealer. It was my goal to protect the casino's assets while making it fun for the guests to play our Table Games. After learning the games, Poker, Mississippi Stud and Roulette were my favorite games to deal.

I joined the MADD Delaware office as an Administrative Assistant and worked my way up to the Director position. It is not about not drinking, it Is about if you drink, be responsible and don't drive. There were far too many people who made the horrendous mistake to drive after drinking, and I saw first hand the grief and after-math that the loved ones who were left behind had to endure. Through my training as a Victim Advocate, and a Grief Counselor, I tired to help the victims become survivors. Public Policy taught me how to work with the lawmakers to toughen DUI laws and also learned how to speak with the media on the dangers of underage drinking, and the tragedies that can happen when someone chooses to drink and drive. It was a great honor to work with our legislators, and Governor to toughen the laws for DUI. Our annual Law Enforcement Recognition ceremony honored the officers who had done an outstanding job with DUI enforcement and public service about the dangers of Underage Drinking and DUI. I organized the annual event which was funded through a grant from the Delaware Office of Highway Safety. I traveled throughout the State of Delaware and on the Eastern Shore of Maryland as the MADD spokesperson to educate about the dangers of Underage Drinking and DUI. Please remember to make to smart choice and designate a sober driver before the party starts.

I was a successful manger in many areas of the Retail World. I started in retail at Ames Department Stores and worked my way up to Department Manager of all hardline and softline departments eventually to Front End Supervisor. As a retail manager I learned various types of retail including Video Stores, Jewelry, Food, department stores, fast food and convenience stores where deli products, alcohol, tobacco and lottery were sold.
