As an experienced executive leader, innovator, systems thinker and relentless advocate for pediatric health access for children in need globally, I, and a handful of dedicated people and organizations, have created a way that by helping one child in need, the next child will benefit. At the helm of the Grace Children’s Foundation (GCF), I have been connecting children to pro bono and subsidized medical care and essential nonclinical resources through a case-by-case model. This individual based work lays bare the critical problem that there are millions of children who have little or no access to medical resources or continuous care. In order to address this inequity, GCF has partnered with a team of innovators at Microsoft and recently Accenture, under Microsoft Tech for Social Impact and other change makers to evolve and scale up the existing model into GCF’s Children’s Resource Exchange (CRE)—a state of the art pediatric healthcare service that will help save the lives of children worldwide...scaling the solution to the magnitude of the problem. I am honored to stand with those people and organizations that embrace this imperative evolution—those who continue to invest in the CRE innovation to build the go to place where any child of any background living anywhere in the world may have accelerated access to vital resources—combining human conscientiousness with technologyOn a personal note, I am a wife who has a really cool husband, a mother of a wonderful daughter, a two state Five Crowns champion, a lover of music, flowers, the New York Yankees, theater and pasta. I am dedicated to the children who wait.
