I researched, scripted, produced and sound designed episodes of Radioactive: The Karen Silkwood Mystery, an investigative limited-run podcast about America’s first nuclear whistleblower. The series was recognized by Amazon Music as a best podcast of 2024.One of the highlights of this project was sourcing rare archival audio and combing through thousands of pages of court records, newspaper clippings and government records to build episode scripts. I also used archival materials to identify new interview sources and crafted in-depth interview questions for the series hosts.

The Insightful Leader is the flagship podcast of Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Business and Management. Each episode features practical workplace, investing, business and management advice that’s rooted in the research of Kellogg faculty.I collaborate with the host to identify the big ideas in each episode and then write and edit scripts in the host’s voice to bring these ideas to life. I mix and sound design in Pro Tools, including finding and layering in archival tape, clips and scoring.

I led production on the season launch of Tomorrow's Cure, a podcast from Mayo Clinic and PRX that unpacks the latest advances in medical innovation -- from 3D printing to AI to the development of cancer vaccines.

I led production of a 10-part limited-run podcast series featuring undertold stories about American monuments and memorials—in all forms—in the 21st century and beyond.

I conducted in-depth research and produced audio content for Call to Mind, a broadcast initiative of American Public Media that raises awareness and reduces stigma about mental health.

I led all aspects of production for an interview podcast that helps parents and caregivers to start conversations about race and racism with young children. I elevated the podcast's audio quality and production value and was a soup-to-nuts producer who booked and prepped interviews with national and regional experts, wrote and edited all scripts and promo copy and cut and scored episodes in Pro Tools. I also produced live recorded events as well as an hour-long public radio broadcast special that aired in 100+ markets across the United States.

I helped Lemonada Media to produce and launch two new weekly pop culture interview podcasts: Raised by Ricki and Funny Cuz It’s True. My duties included conducting pre-interviews, in-depth research and host interview prep as well as dialogue editing in Pro Tools and sourcing archival audio.

I produced and scored complex narrative podcasts for the award-winning investigative and documentary team at APM Reports. I worked in Pro Tools to assemble episodes of the podcasts Sent Away and In Deep, including building sound-rich scenes layered with archival audio, scoring and reporter VO. I also contributed to group story edits.

I used my journalism training to conduct over 1,000 in-depth confidential reference interviews for an executive search firm that recruits transformative leaders for education, healthcare, philanthropy, advocacy, and other civic sector organizations that advance the public good.

I was a longtime staff producer for the award-winning and nationally distributed public radio program, On Being. I researched and prepped the host for hundreds of long-form interviews with a wide range of guests – from neuroscientists to poets. I also oversaw the production calendar, ran the weekly staff meeting, wrote host and promo copy and cut tape for national broadcast. During my time with the show, I field produced complex domestic and international production trips, including to Israel/West Bank (2011) and Turkey (2012).

I researched content ideas, edited audio and provided post-production support to American RadioWorks - the former national documentary group at American Public Media.
