As the Vice president and part of the Executive Leadership team of Pathways Home Health, Hospice, and Private Duty, I was responsible for the overall leadership, management and success of the Private Duty Corporation while ensuring quality care to the seniors and their families in our community. These responsibilities included but were not limited to strategizing business opportunities, producing and achieving financial viability and growth;Producing and maintaining annual budget, and tax returns, and directing the accounting staff processes from billing, payroll and a/p to complete Financial Statement production and achievement of successful annual financial audits, Managing sales & marketing staff performance and implementing strategies for success, Overseeing the recruiting and hiring process of staff from director level, to administrative and caregiving staff; ensuring labor, state and federal law compliance, Managing all Human Resources functions and legalities from labor, benefits, pension plan preparation and compliance, through supervision, training, team development and staff recognition programs, Communication and outreach, client and family services, quality assurance and all other regulatory compliance.

I started as the Accounting Supervisor and was promoted to the Director of Accounting as my duties expanded. Northern California

I was the Internal Auditor and Bookkeeper Trainer for the restaurant chain covering a geographic area of all of Northern California Restaurants (SF Bay Area to Sacramento locations). My responsibilities included training all new bookkeepers who were hired for each restaurant location the process of the daily sales and receipts recordings and accounting to provide to headquarters;To assist management weekly on the inventory control reconciliation of the bar and kitchen inventory usage and losses, On a random basis, arrive unannounced to different restaurant locations to audit their accounting transactions, internal controls and security practices . The last year I also worked at the headquarters location in the Marketing Department as part of the R&D team.
