To survive and thrive in the current market it will take an innovative finance professional to assist in achieving business financial goals. As a Finance & Accounting Professional I have the expertise and desire to help achieve these goals. I bring to the table both breadth and depth in the financial analyst role. My experience ranges from hi-volume hi-tech manufacture, to large platform monitoring systems, to consumer commodities. I have made significant contributions in various roles providing financial analysis and modeling, planning and reporting, cost accounting, and month end close activities.While working for CRAYOLA I was responsible for financial analysis and feasibility assessment of ventures which extended the reach of the CRAYOLA brand. As the financial lead I worked with the marketing team to launch 2 new business segments/markets. In my position with Canberra I was instrumental in assisting the business through a critical transition from a small private company to a significant product line in a large corporation. While working with a team of business managers located at multiple sites my key role was to set up and implement cost accounting practices, develop and implement management reporting and analysis tools and ensure that all finance, accounting and inventory activities transitioned smoothly.Further, I have over 15 years experience with Hewlett Packard. During my career with HP, I provided key leadership in world wide reporting, defined and measured product line budgets with functional managers and ensured that appropriate financial controls and performance metrics were in place. My career with HP provided me with many opportunities to develop my finance and accounting skills, from inventory valuation and control, manufacturing, to global financial business modeling.I have experienced success in all of my roles. Now, after taking some time to invest in raising my family, I’m ready to leverage my abilities in another setting.
