In my role, I oversee all the recruitments that are in action as well as all personnel actions that are being processed. I provide guidance and support to leadership as well as updates on our actions. I maintain a strong line of communication using all the methods that are available. I provide guidance regarding hiring methods and ensuring that actions are progressing efficiently. I maintain an open line of communication between the activity, Human Resources office (HRO) and our Office of Central Human Resources (OCHR). I also ensure that our programs that we manage (DPMAP, awards, OGE450) are being managed efficiently. I also ensure that onboarding brieifings are being scheduled/met. As a program analyst, I ensure that our recruitment actions are being prepared properly (notepad, checkllist, PD/PDR) and being forwarded to Manpower to include BIN information. I track each action and ensure that information is flowing smoothly. As a program analyst, I ensure each Vacancy Announcement / Flyer is being reviewed/modified / returned as expected. I work closely with leadership to ensure rating plans, interview schedules and questions are being processed timely and accurately. I manage the entire process through the final steps of onboarding the new employee. As a program analyst, I also process a variety of personnel actions to include reassignments, change to lower grade, temporary promotions, managing MIoC, retirements and separations. My role also includes working with classification to create or modify a current PD/PRD. My role also consists of working with the EIT/Intern panel to support the recruitment effort of incoming interns and EITs. All of my recruitments include the use of Teams to coordinate a successful recruitment. In this role, I am also partnering with a new employee in our code to provide training, guidance and support in all areas. Show less
