In my time with this computer consulting firm working with the IBM AS400 and iSeries I have had the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients on a variety of projects. The goal continues to be to give customers the tools they need to reach their objective in a timely manner, no matter the size or type of project.I have had the opportunity to work on activities from system analysis, design and programming, to unique customizations and reporting, applied to packaged and in house systems. Projects of all sizes and scopes have been assigned. A recent project, creating a Vision and Dental reimbursement system, required analysis, project design, programming, testing and documentation for a long term client. Another project required review of major deficits in the clients’ third party software, documentation of those issues and coordinating with the vendor to resolve those concerns. Another longstanding client requires detailed design, testing and user documentation for all projects.

This job involved a large variety of work for this manufacturer of children's leisure products. Played a major part in the upgrade from MAPICS to HFA software on an AS/400. Added more than 30 new EDI partners for Purchase Orders and Invoices using Gentran/400. Created customized screens and reports for processing of EDI. Continual involvement in the customization of existing software and development of new software. In charge of major analysis and implementation of sales data base conversion. Analyzed and created detailed specifications plus programming for royalty tracking and forecasting systems.

Insure the operational status of the data processing department for this private label food manufacturing company. Key duties include administration of hardware and software, purchases, upgrades, maintenance and development of new software and supervision of operations staff. Coordinate with the users to improve current software and anticipate future needs. Review and prioritize request, modify software to allow for more complete information reporting and better performance.

Maintenance and creation of a wide variety of programs for this garment manufacturing company. Worked extensively with order processing, invoicing and report generation. Designed, wrote and implemented programs to convert EDI customer purchase orders to the order processing system. Created custom reports to combine orders, work in process and invoicing by selection criteria. Created additional reporting for the Accounts Payable and General Ledger systems. Revised the P & L programs to allow for budgeting. Wrote technical documentation for all major systems.
