Provide spiritual care to patients in our home team and in our in-patient Hospice Center along with their family members. Spiritual care relates to what gives meaning to a person's life--that may be religion, but it is often many other things including family, work, avocations. It is the work of presence which invited people to share who they are and what is most important in their lives.I also coordinate the bereavement program including the quarterly Memorial Services, phone and mail contacts to family, and one-on-one visits with grieving family and friends. In addition, I have offered "grief education" programs which help us begin to understand that grief is a normal part of life--but we can help ourselves work our way through grief rather than just being laid low by it.

Recruit, train, and support volunteers to provide service to patients and staff in the hospital. In addition, support the work of the Women's Health Center and community education programs.Two programs I initiated were the Caregiver Support Group which existed for about 8 years and the Infant/Child Car Seat Safety program.
