Nancy Smith supports GC Canada as a member of the Global Corporate Management Team. Nancy’s responsibilities include development, setup and organization of the GC teambuilding workshop, underwriting training and active involvement with customer and broker events including senior executive visits to Canada and Canadian RIMS. Events development (ie. GC Western Canada Cocktail, Training Workshop, Customer/Broker Road Shows) for GCC including Energy Canada and Risk Services. She is liaison for GC Management with all HR responsibilities including staffing changes, promotions, performance management and compliance training. She works in conjunction with our business partners, various agencies, and associated global counterparts to enhance the experience by providing support, input and coordination.She has a degree in Human Resource Management from Ryerson University, Toronto.Nancy also serves on various committees including the Zurich Canada Health & Safety, is a member of the Executive Board of the 25 Year Club and is a volunteer with Mid Toronto Community Services delivering Meals on Wheels. She has also won numerous awards for her services, including the Zurich Community Investment Award in 2013.
