Priorities are to prepare youth and unemployed workers for jobs in-demand, upgrade the skills of underemployed workers to meet specific-employer skill demands and improve the competitiveness of Massachusetts businesses by investing in the skills of their workers.

Provided strategic leadership, innovation and operations oversight for a business-led partnership that shapes public policy in the areas of workforce development and education, and develops initiatives that prepare youth and adults in Boston to meet the skill demands of employers in the region’s changing economy.

Led city policy development in the areas of workforce training and employment, alternative education for youth and community-based adult education.
