About Nancy Uruchima

I am currently completing my Clinical Fellowship at the Interdisciplinary Center for Child Development (ICCD) as a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist, specializing in working with neurodivergent children ages 3-5 in a preschool setting. Additionally, I provide therapy services in a private practice, where I support school-age children with a focus on all areas of language development, including expressive, receptive, and pragmatic skills.I have experience in child-centered therapy approaches and am actively furthering my expertise by participating in the Gestalt Language Processing course through Meaningful Speech. This ongoing education is aimed at enhancing my clinical skills and providing the best support for my students.I also have a strong interest in research, particularly in the areas of Autism and Aphasia, and am eager to contribute to ongoing research efforts or expand my experience in the field.
