I have experience working with The Office of Refugee Resettlement as a Bilingual Mental Health Clinician working with unaccompanied immigrant children from all over Mexico, Central and South America. I am currently working as a Mental Health Counselor specializing in HIV positive clients, trauma, age range of 12 years old to adult seniors and veterans. I specialize in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy and Accelerated Resolution therapy. I have 16 years working as a Child Protective Services Investigator. I worked with families dealing with domestic violence, mental health, substance abuse and other family crisis including lack of housing or poor housing. I also have 16 years working as a mentor and retention agent for my fellow Child Protective Services investigator colleagues training, motivating and providing case direction.
