This also involved creating reports, using SharePoint to trackthe vendor audit list, and working with Supplier Development and Metallurgy to ensure that theappropriate personnel attended the audit with me if required. I also worked with Supplier Development to ensure that the Approved Vendor list was up to date with the vendors audited and their approved scopes of supply. My audit territory was primarily North America. Types of shops audited were: machine shops, weld shops, forging facilities, casting facilities, heat treat shops, NDE shops, paint shops and different types of coating facilities.Collect and analyze nonconformance report data monthly to ensure that the nonconformances werevalid cost of quality issues.
