After spending several years working as a caseworker for child protective services, adult protective services, and Texas rehabilitation commission I became a first grade teacher. After 11 years of teaching I took a leap of faith and walked away from a steady paycheck to become a small businesses owner. My husband and I took over a nearly defunt and now profitable radio station in the Texas Panhandle. Every job I held in the professional world prepared me in some way to have the relentless drive to succeed in the radio industry.

Our programming includes AG news, Hart High School sports, a local morning show, and local events. KDHN has been on the air since 1963. Our AG show, airing weekdays 6:30am -9:30am, includes live interviews with leaders in the AG industry including the Texas Ag Commission, Executive director or the Texas Corn Producers and Texas Grain Sorghum board, local producers, agronomists and entemologists, in addition to economists for cotton and grains from Texas A&M University - College Station, farm broadcaster Max Armstrong, and Texas Agrilife extension agents from around the Texs Pandhandle. We also have live market reports from 7:25 am - 9:30 am Tuesday thru Friday in addition to market reports through out the day from 10am - 3:30pm. Our farm broadcaster has more than 40 years experience in the industry and is a member of the National Association of Farm Broadcasters - NAFB.
