Executive Director
Current- Manage the day-to-day operations of the foundation- Develop relationships within the philanthropic community, local corporate entities, and program staff to ensure adequate funding both in the short term and for future planning.- Manage the foundation’s board of directors- Write grant proposals, appeals, sponsorship proposals- Create marketing/communication plan, newsletter, social media posts- Working with the programming staff and the board’s executive committee, create annual budgets- Work in close connection with Baltimore City Public School staff to ensure the continued support of the Farm’s programming staff and Baltimore City Public Schools’ Programming initiatives - Oversee annual fundraising event- Lead the capital campaign to plan and build an outdoor classroom at the Farm- Establish an endowment to ensure the longterm stability of the foundation
