Current➤ Merged teams of two states, Idaho and Utah, working through significant issues due to differences in benefit requirements, compliance needs, and cultures. Recognized need for consistency across states, while supporting and respecting legacy practices of the original teams. Built successful cross-state team, while creating highly efficient system to handle state-specific challenges, increasing strategic lens and tactical operations perspective. ➤ Designed and developed project plans to improve processes between state teams, monitoring progress to ensure product designs, handoff dates, and compliance expectations were on target, and met accuracy and timeliness guidelines.➤ Instituted problem-solving sessions post projects to identify opportunities for process improvements to increase nimbleness of small, independent teams. Led to simplifications which improved document drafting time, accuracy, and ease of use for regulators, groups, and members, as well as ensured teams met filing requirements during ever-increasing volumes of work.➤ Established and maintained training materials and developed peer coaching and mentoring programs to up tool staff skill sets and drive cross-training of team members in Idaho and Utah, encouraging open communication and learning agility, and created team development best practices for other states to model.
