• Maintenance/operation of large variety of equipment in microscopy and spectroscopy. such as XRD ultima IV, Bruker XRD Discover D8, Quantachrome Autosorbs ASiQ & MP1, Zeiss SEM, Tescan SEM, Carbon/Metal Coating for SEM, XRF, freeze dyer, TGA/DSC, Contact Angle & Spectrophotometers, HPLC and LC-MS etc.• Training users to operate the equipment, and provide post training support • Management of tools, including instrumentation advancing, new material characterization, and tool maintenance• Perform sample analysis for internal and external customers• Serve in safety committee and help for annual lab inspection• Write SOP or maintenance blog for responsible tools

• Quantitative analysis of drugs and metabolites in blood/plasma using LC-ESI-MS. • Interpretation of MS/MS fragments and write report (MS identification section) for new drug submission to FDA • Maintain and HPLC and MS/MS instruments• Follow GLP for documentation

• Design and performance of analytical method development/transfer/qualification for drug substance identification, detection, quantitation and characterization, including biological potency assay, Western Blot, RP-HPLC, SEC-HPLC, ELISA, cell-based assays, and peptide fingerprint-HPLC.• Coordinate method transfer and validation with clients• Provide scientific leadership and expertise. Supervise the analysts and review the laboratory work to ensure the analytical method development is in compliance with cGMP• Maintain, repair, qualify, calibrate analytical instruments and equipment, HPLCs, plate readers, plate washer, FT-IR, GC, and spectrophotometer• Write and revise SOPs, method development qualification protocols, and drug analysis reports for new drug submission• Coordinated stability studies and final product release testing
