Nancy is a bilingual credit insurance underwriter at Export Development Canada (EDC), a financial Crown corporation dedicated to helping Canadian companies succeed on the world stage. With over 15 years of experience in finance, fraud, underwriting, global payments, investment and fintech, she is an international risk management expert who helps Canadian exporters minimize losses as they expand their business globally and also generates revenue (premium) by pricing credit insurance policies.She is a nimble learner and highly adaptable to new work modalities, eager to apply her skills to excel in new roles.As a former pioneer staff for United Bank for Africa, a pan-African bank operating in 20 countries, Nancy trained and onboarded over 150 staff in English and French, executed global bank projects with partners in the USA, France and other African countries, and led fintech initiatives that won the “Visa Innovative Product” of the year in 2015. She also collaborated with MoneyGram France and USA teams as a product manager, signing four strategic sub-agents, developed strategies and executed campaigns increasing sales.With her global expertise, she moved to Canada where she held various customer service, finance and analyst roles with Bank of Montreal and International Financial Data Service.She is a motivated professional with a strong work ethic.
