Ph.D. Toxicologist with over twenty years of applied public health experience, seventeen of which were in government, including senior leadership positions at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and on detail to the White House within the Office of Management and Budget (at OIRA) and the National Economic Council (NEC). Currently, Director of Regulatory Science at Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP providing clients with insight into how regulatory policy is shaped, how science informs rulemakings, and how rulemakings proceed from proposals to final regulations. Accomplished in bringing a scientific dialogue to the policy discussion to inform critical decision-making to protect public health. Guided by the science, and focused on transparency and clarity, with a deep understanding of scientific issues, risk assessment, and U.S. regulatory process. Successful collaborations have involved partnerships with senior staff and policy officials throughout the Executive Office of the President and Federal agencies with knowledge to decode the interplay of agencies in the regulatory process for the benefit of her clients.
