Drive and energy have never been a problem for me. I had my first job as a papergirl when I was 13. I moved from that to a full time summer job in my junior year of high school and bought my 1st car the year I graduated. I quickly found a love for the medical field where I spent 20+ years evolving and always looking around the corner for where I could go next. I started out in a secretarial position and from there spent time as a medical assistant, clinical liason, critical care assistant and then on to be an EMT. Near the end of that I somehow ended as an account executive for one of the nations largest ambulance companies. I dabbled in dentistry for time as a group practice manager and then decided to have a mid-life crisis and go over the road as a driver/packer/loader for North American Van lines for several years. If you ever want to get out there and see this amazing, beautiful country and get paid for it, I highly recommend it. From there I spent 12+ years in Colorado back in the medical field, this time in adminstration. I worked with the aging population and learned first hand all the wonderful things they have to teach us. Alzheimer's and dementia are an unforgiving disease that leave the patient and families alike in such a world of pain, loss and sadness. I was blessed to be able to be a part of that in a positive way and walked that journey with them. That time in my life will always remain near and dear to me and I look to support the research on Alzheimer's any chance I can. I guess I thought I needed a new challange so I pursued a career as a realtor and met so many wonderful people along my way but......The love for my family and the fact that time just won't slow down were the factors that brought me back to th East Coast to pursue yet one last career challenge! For our Tradewinds Tax Planning clients, I play an integral part in gathering data and facilitating and implementing tax strategies based on what their tax plan dictates. I am also studying for my Series 65 license for retirement planning and look forward to working with clients of Paramount Financial ( a sister company of Tradewinds) in the future. All in all it has been a varied career but always center around "what can I give" attitude.. I wouldn't trade once piece of it and I can't wait to see how this next chapter plays out!
